Someone tell me what happened to CR England

    I had a great experience with them, started in 97 as company, got in on the lease deal, made a bunch of money, pretty much had to give it up, I think the State of Az. put it in these terms, get off the road or we will adopt your kids out, and I went to Dan England and told him about it. He told me I did not have a choice, family came first, and he was right. In 8 months I had $6500 in my escrow account, I got $5500 of that back. He also told me when my kids were raised to please come back. But after reading all these stories on this forum, I am not sure.

    Paid for the lease until it was re leased out. It was in the contract and was fair enough given short notice.

    Do you know if they are under same management now ?
    I'm amazed at what I've learned of CRE practices - seems they leave themselves open for a massive lawsuit/judgement if one of their 'students' should wipe out a family on the public roads.

    I currently work for CRE. About 6 or 7 months ago, talked to a CRE driver that had been with the company almost 30 years. He said the company was a great place to work until 2009 when the new CEO took over and since then it has gone to ####. He wouldn't hire on there now if he was just starting out. Current CEO is more about making money than taking care of people. Recently learned current CEO is a lawyer and started out as the company's in house counsel. Highly doubt he has ever spent any time on the road and it shows.

    What happened that the govt got so actively involved in how you are raising your kids? Long as your kids are happy, healthy, and looked after while you are gone, it isn't the govt's business.

    In 97 drivers still had respect for themselves and others so they often received respect back.. it's not just CRE it's the industry as a whole no one has much respect for anything now it seems
