First and foremost thanks for all you guys do on this forum. Long time reader. I live in southern Cali, I am 30 years of age. Clean background and driving record. My plan is to attend a private trucking school in the area. My question is for a company called Wildwood Express. I was reading there qualifications and one of them says this " previous CDL experience or graduated from driving school". Does this mean they train new drivers with a fresh CDL?

It means they hire new cdl school grads.

Ok so I'm assuming they have a training program.

Probably same as with other companies; the new cdl grad will be sent on a few runs with another driver to learn the customer protocols and paperwork. Yes, you're good to go with that company.
Probably ok, for drivers wanting regional work. Probably good hometime. Looks like they specialize in produce and delivering around California and Arizona. Not a small company either and not huge.

I see them a lot in the Salinas Valley which makes sense (salad bowl of America). They pull late model freightliners with curtain side flatbed doubles. I like the back of their trailers... on the left a smiley face saying passing side and the right a skull and crossbones saying suicide. That's all I can tell ya... seem to have consistent work and most likely follow the harvest south into Yuma I'm guessing.

Do you want coast to coast or regional western states? I'm a big proponent of coast to coast, but that's not for everyone. You're in a good location for many options.
