Driving a CMV without a license.

Invalid or no Medical card, your CDL is no good.

Get a medical card. It's simple. Stare at a paper chart and say ahh a few times and done.

Even grandfathered CDL's like mine are requiring a medical card now i think. Im out of it anyhow pernamently for medical reasons.

 

That's pretty much what we have to do. Didn't realize you guys had to carry a card. Ours is due when the licence expires. We can't renew our licence unless we bring in the medical form from the doctor.

 

The OP had a valid Med Card, the Clerk entered the wrong dates in the system and since you are not required to carry a Med Card anymore, the system showed their Med Card Expired.

Nothing the OP did was wrong, but due to an error in keypunching the OP got a ticket which should be dismissed and lost time/Money.

I work at exit 77. We need to get together sometime.

 

Rules changed,,, once you get your Med Card you only need to carry it for two weeks and also submit it to the DMV, but some states automatically submit the info to the State DMV and you are not issued a Med Card.

Problem being, you have to either take it in to the DMV and self-certify again or fax it to the "medical" section of the DMV and pray they get the information into the system.

I called two weeks after I submitted to make sure it was in the system.

 

I get all my vape stuff off 16 on 485 outer north of the airport.

 

You transverse from CLT to exit 77?
