That's less than 1% over gross on a set of tandems. I highly doubt their scales are even that accurate. Run it, you'll be fine.
Rubberduckin, RERM and TigerShark Thank this. -
I can't answer that but if it were me I'd go with it.Three hundred lbs over is nothing.I've been 500 over many times during my career because I was too lazy to move the tandems and never did I get a ticket or asked to get it legal by the DOT.Rubberduckin and TigerShark Thank this.

I'm only sitting @ 79300 I'm just going to kick myself if they nail me and it takes 30 minutes that I could have gone around
Rubberduckin Thanks this. -
What's the weight on all three axles?
-
You should be good. OK usually isn't too bad, but I run dry bulk, so we can't move things around as easy and they know it.

Tolerance is 1000 pounds .. but... some scales yeesh..
The problem is this for me... the preweights sensor that you trip coming off the interstate decides if you go onto the platform for a really good look at your weight. It will do it at 79000 and up. Once or twice Ive put a outside tire or several outsides slightly off the preweights itself.TigerShark, TurnpikeTourist and Rusty Trawler Thank this. -
Just jam on the brakes a few times.
Hammer166, 4wayflashers, Dave_in_AZ and 7 others Thank this. -
Most of the time that coop is closed. You can get off at exit 12 I think it's Atkins then 64 west to 540 south. Then 255 truck route. Brings you. Back out to 64 by the old stockyards, right back to 40.
TigerShark, MJ1657 and 7-UP Thank this. -
I could be wrong, and please correct me if I am, but isn't there a 400lb exemption if you have an APU? Obviously not for the trailer axle weight, but if your over on your drives that could save some worry.
Rubberduckin and TigerShark Thank this.
