Picked up 10 hours. Now I'm debating whether to drive another couple hours or just stay here for the 10.... I think I'll be pushing my luck with parking if I keep going

 

Yea I'm not too crazy about this particular assignment. I was told that it was mandatory that I get here at night because there is no way to get in and turned around in the day time. I cut my teeth repo-ing in Newark and its majestic surrounding areas. Most of my craziest stories came from Irvington but Newark never disappointed either. There's nothing like driving a self loader through Georgia King Village on a summer night. Or trying to. Anyway, my doors are ratchet strapped shut. It's been an uneventful night so far but impossible to sleep with the noise.

Ontario, CA until Monday. sitting again for 2 stinking days and no layover because "I'm assigned a dispatch"
I wounld be in Hesperia at the Peelot, but the tank wash in las vegas,,,couldn't clean me out completely.

"Sorry, Man. We cant clean polymers"

"OK. Did you figure that out after you read the BOL and SDS, that I handed you 3 hours and $250 ago?"

so I had to try and find a tank wash in LA that was open on a Saturday. Found one in Southgate and then I'm going to have to park at the $25 a day Petro and pickup in Santa few Springs Monday.

Just about had it.

 

Sadlers Pilot in Dunn, NC. Picking up a shorty tomorrow to del in SC Monday before I go home. Normally I wouldn't come back out til the Monday after turkey, but I just took a week off and sank a ton of money into wifey's car and loaning my son some $ to help him move. So it looks like I'll be at it again Friday.
