I'm in the office now and I'll catch some flack for saying this but I enjoyed driving a truck much more than being in an office. What do I learn every day? To each their own I guess in the end. -

On a side note: if you have any questionable history, you may not be eligible for a TWIC card. Which is mandatory to get on the ports.DrDieselUSA Thanks this. -
I am in the market you area inquiring about, I clear roughly on average $2100/week after fuel. I run out of Jacksonville port but I start in Fort lauderdale. I go jacksonville to Atlanta 3 times a week Jacksonville to miami/fort lauderdale once per week. I'm home on Fridays then leave the house on mondays. This works for me, I don't run out of Miami or port everglades I don't speak Spanish, a lot of the Spanish don't like to give any info they quick to tell you they don't speak english. I try running miami/ port everglades and I was only clearing $600/ week after fuel
DrDieselUSA and djblast019 Thank this. -
Cause as a container hauler in Chicago my settlements seldom dip below $2,200 after fuel....average is $2,600 to 2,800 working 5 days a week and home every night....and that's this year, it's been REALLY slow all year.....
So I guess container work is horrible in Florida......a bit surprising.... -
