I'm a week into Schneider orientation and I've yet to hear or read anything about restrictive dress codes other than safety related items (No Slip Boots, Long Pants, etc).

I'd say contact a Schneider recruiter about it before going to PAM, since Schneider starts out at .36cpm.

While tatts are more common...face tattoos are another story.

Yeah facial tats do screw you out of just about every type of industry.
I've been successful at the local saw mill under the table for $40 a day and heating and cooling under the table of course at a whopping $50 a day lmao. The sad part is my criminal history is squeaky clean and I have work ethic like you wouldn't believe. Just kinda get screwed right off the rip.

But I'll probably use the hard candy cover up to get past orientation, Can't match my skin tone for #### as I've tried before but it's not like I'm going to get much face time with anyone from the "office" anyway OTR.

As far as my prospects after my first year I'm more than likely going to work for the same company my dad worked for here locally for 20 some odd years before he passed from cancer hauling coal being paid by the load and home every evening by 3:30-4:00pm as long as I go to work at 4 am 6 days a week.

So it wouldn't be the end of the world to end up at PAM and have my training paid for but I do have two kids ages 4-6 to support and if I can get a few extra cpm I'll take it.

My brother just recently left Schneider for TMC Transportation but he already had some experience driving locally before he went OTR and of course he was intelligent enough to not get tattoos on his face @ 16 (Estranged brother from my dad's previous marriage. He moved here from Chicago when dad got sick)

The state of Kentucky will pay for cdl school. Ask the unemployment office about this.
The teardrop is the job killer.
Visit a cosmetics department and ask for some help with something to cover it. Maybe match a fingernail polish as close as possible to the skin so you don't rub it off easily. Make it look like a brown sunspot or similar.
Some tattoo shops now have laser to remove tattoos.
If the only reasonable option is company sponsored school, then keep trying.
    Carolina Logistics
    Celadon
    Millis Transfer
When you are in school, and take a break from class, check the mirror in the restroom and see if the tattoo needs touching up a bit.
Which school were you to attend for PAM? OK, I found it; Driver Solutions. Ask them if they have any other choices besides PAM.

He probably has a good chance with Millis. Probably also with Carolina Logistics. Probably most will take him except the boy scout outfits like TMC, Averitt, Maverick.

If you can do a break in Nashville,TN in the future, catch a Uber and go to Lone Wolf Tattoo and he can remove those facial tattoos. He's a good guy.
Many places across the nation can also do this procedure with the laser.

Yeah I got a place close to here that does it I've recently found and believe it or not they're actually fairly priced but it does take multiple sessions to have them completely removed.

Didn't think of the nail polish trick, I'm just curious if it would cause any skin irritation but probably not or women would have red cuticles all the time lol. I did actually consider Rohel first when I seen the $500 a week training salary but I figured it was a load of bs but seeing what tengears said it looks pretty legit.

Really appreciate all the replies everyone. I'll find somewhere, Might just check my local community college and apply for financial aid. I know one of these little colleges around here should offer driver training.
