I will be honest I did not hear they did but checking on the UDOT site it says nothing about it.

If you look in the Rand Motor Carrier Atlas you see Utah says 48' trailers, nothing is mentioned about 53's
48's there is no rule, I still think 48-53's require you to be at a 41' kingpin setting.
(1) Trailers of 48' to 53' require no more than 41' spacing from kingpin to center of rear axle group.tucker Thanks this. -
