Too cheap unless there is something lined up after the drop to get the guy out with a better paying load that will compensate for the lost revenue.
For the most part he can have a real service, not a broker handle this at twice the costs unless someone is dumb enough to take it at $800.
Oh and by the way, technically that's not a power only load, that's a move a trailer load.Lepton1 Thanks this. -
it sound like bobtail to and drag the mt back
-
Could work but only if you are allowed to haul something on this trailer. This way it would essentially be a haul and backhaul in one load.

I did a power only load that paid $900 from Dallas to just west of Wichita. Sounds good until you factor in bobtail miles. Total miles was 900, so it ended up being a buck a mile. That's a good way to loose money.
The customer was delighted with my service and asked if I wanted to do another load. I asked for double the price. They declined, saying that's all they could pay. I declined. Last I heard they are struggling to fulfill their contract. Go figure. -
Cheap

If it is a load out, maybe ain't so bad. But as a strict power only, it awful cheap
-
$800 not bad especially if the driver can do a load out.
