At least you didn't have a dispatcher call you in the middle of the night having bid on a load, getting it and the only truck within 300 miles was one of mine and he was on his 34 hour reset. She begged me to talk the driver into taking it, and I told her what she needs to do for me to even consider it, she hung up on me and I went back to sleep.

I'll see him thanksgiving and drill him a bit more about it. He keeps trying to get me to buy a truck and says he'll take care of me

 

I think the market is in for an adjustment soon with oil field stuff starting to move again and these yahoos can't keep moving loads at poverty rates much longer .

I've been moving some oil pipe latley that's paying ok but certainly not anything life changing , tried to bump the rate up on last load but they wouldn't budge ...they did tell me however that it's coming .
