I've talked to multiple drivers that have experienced this. I wish WM wouldn't contact until right before or either after one starts.
Walmart here I come!

Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

The thing about doing this is that if you work at a company that you catch flak from for applying to somewhere else, then you can be nearly assured they'll take 29 of the allotted 30 days to return that form needed by the home office safety team to ensure you meet the qualifications.
So if we were to wait until right before you start or after you start there's a very high probability you'd be sitting around for a month, because wm wouldn't let you drive until that stuff came back.
What we have done in the past for some drivers is hold off on sending the current SPHR/employment verification until the CBC comes back showing that we should continue processing. That's only done by request though.
It's flat out kiddie b/s that an employer can hold you up this way cause you can be ###### sure if they had a chance to make more money or receive better benefits they'd be throwing a hissy fit if something got in their way, but that's the way it is in the trucking world. -
I guess what's why walmart doesn't pull the DAC report again? Cause they know carriers will sometimes put stuff on there just to retaliate against the driver huh?
-
I don't know if that's the only reason they don't pull it, but it's definitely got a beneficial effect for drivers.
-
I don't think they pull a DAC at all think they use some other way to verify because there's a lot of guys don't work for over the road traditional trucking companies that do not subscribe to dac
-
You're right about 95% of companies we get the information from don't use DAC, but that other 5% only provide us information via DAC. But we still aren't pulling any additional information from those employers even if you worked for them between the dates of us receiving the original information and your start date.
**edit: that doesn't mean go out and drive like a fool after we get the original info, cause that MVR we do pull again and there are instances of people getting to orientation and something on that "onboarding MVR" sent them packing.Ksmile Thanks this. -
lol I know that shop Walmart save $ live better

Housing prices just dropped in Apple Valley, and jumped in Kingman AZ. Why? Read the news and remember we own undeveloped industrial property in Kingman.
-
So are you saying that we're going to close our distribution center in Apple Valley and move it to Kingman Arizona
-
I've heard they might have " plumbing problems" in all the California DCs.
Woodenleg Thanks this.
