I'm in cheyenne. Your post said you made it on Friday? Thus is Tuesday, and the weather is ok but getting better.
What ou should consider is also fuel mileage. I do better with heavy loads in Wyoming. There are a few grades, short ones, before you climb out of SLC, but once you're across the sisters, you let it roll with minimal expense. Up over Sherman and you're off to the races.
I-70 is nothing but hill and dale from I-15 to I-25, they should have stopped in Denver. It isn't to bad going west, but going east is a chore and fuel mileage stinks.
For future reference if it is to late.
I'm new here. First time I had a chance to learn something more than ratchet jaw. -
