Yep no outriggers or brackets on that one. Unless then for certain lds. The center steel doesn't worry me.

Is that the "Mini deck" from XL? If so it's not 60 ton it's rated at 60,000 pounds. That center isn't a deck it's one big beam, the call it a three beam trailer. There was an article in American Cranes and Transport magazine about it a while back.

That's it... I read it wrong my apologies. I'd have to buy the bigger brother to it at 80k

That is the trailer @Old Man runs I think. It has like 33' in the well
    With a 12" deck height.

Great for tall distributed loads but I am not sure a D7 is a good idea.

Everyone wants a super light trailer right up until you don't.

You are better going to an 8 axle
Setup with a quality 55 ton trailer than overloading a lighter spec trailer and hoping it holds up.

There is a price of admission for every segment of our industry.
If one is unable or unwilling to pay that price, then I do not want to support that kind of operation.

Yes, we get testy when people
Run under spec'd and overloaded equipment. Usually they are doing it to cut the rate of guys running the properly spec'd more expensive equipment.

I would love to jump up and get 13 axle rates but I am not willing to bootleg or overload my equipment.

Well I was just thinking out loud. I like the deck height right now I just have a 3axle tractor so that will be all I can handle right now anyhow. Guess if I buy a bigger truck I'll look at a bigger trailer

No big deal, I got one IMG_0561.JPG
It a 30 ton trailer, mine is
a 53, if you buy one get the chain slots and hat box.
It can be hard to get around corners but with a heavy load I can get the deck to 12 inches, if you're worried about the steel deck get some friction mat.
It is not a RGN for beginners.

That's what you get into. To haul heavier loads, you need a heavier trailer. You end up adding axles just to support the heavier trailer. Sometimes it's like you are fighting a loosing battle when you get into the real heavy weights.
