Let's start with their Facebook page. It says 4.3 starts, but that's marketing 101. That rating is only to deceive you. You see on facebook the ratings are reviewed by the admin of the page before it can be posted. I talked to plenty of people that could not post a negative experience they had at Cheema because it was never approved by admin. Let'
move to their office. Cheema claim to have multiple offices, but really only have one in Ripon. The other offices are virtual and only there for marketing to grow their company. They
treat drivers like work dogs. Being super friendly at first and then work dogs. I mean folks the company owner is 26 years old! No one sticks with this company, so they always have trucks available. Drop and hook to live loads are not really that bad, but the stress they put into drivers is crazy. This company is small, but they act like Swift, and it's negative for drivers. The manager there has a memory problem, so you will most likely get into it with him. For the people that will say I got fired or whatever, come on folks, it's trucking! I quit the job and went next door to a different company. One more thing about Cheema. The CHP hates them. So when it comes time for scales, watch your 6! Weekly pay, but the accountant most likely going to screw up your check once a week, loads are not bad, home time not much, superiors are rude, dispatcher will expect you to be a work horse, false marketing, health insurance from them sucks, they're noisy, there neighbor truck companies are more local and higher pay.
I don't recommend them at all.

The California Highway patrol is on their ### though. One of their customer Lowes was talking about how they always send bad trailers and might cancel their contract. They claim to have a lot of new dry vans, but majority is junk and put you as a driver at risk. The last time I was there one of the dry van's tire busted even after I told them to fix it before leaving their yard and Cheema's manager tried to put the blame on me Dr.evil staff lolbzinger Thanks this. -

Not to trash the valley....but what did you expect from RIPON??? Unless you work for one of the great established farming famiies there, it's probably going to be a cheapo wanna-be punk son, who thinks he's "the second coming".
Lots of great folks up & down the area. You found the exception . Dad probably doesn't even speak english.Last edited by a moderator: Nov 29, 2016
