today the NTSB said the driver WASN'T on the road he was to use (short cut maybe)....

 

Agreed w. Tom. That's a light sentence.
I'd take penance in blood, daily. Stop it to start it again.

While not generally sadistic, I could make an exception for this guy.
206 bones in the human body, one a day is fit for breaking.

Sad situation at Wayne State. You mentioned the school the other day when discussing "Safe rooms" & "Grief counselors."

 

I agree w/everything posted . ..but how the hèck do you T-bone a dang tree w/out excessive speed?

 

Reports are that the bus driver was going week above the speed limits

 

I have 60 middle school kids on my bus every day, with back packs, and music instrument cases. Fortunately none of my kids play the cello.

In pa, I received 15 hours of on the road driving instruction before I could get a school bus license. My instructor was very strict, as was the examiner.

In TN I got my school bus license without doing a skills test and no instruction at all, about 5 years ago. All I had to do was pass the written test at dot. We had two busses that would hold 90 students....I refused to drive those....they were way too big for the roads there.

 

Think you may have those last to reversed ?
