i had diesel in the oil not long ago in one of my trucks..turned out to be couple bad injectors..your boss is trying to save money by fixing it locally which is why he is telling you to change the oil every 700 miles to limp the truck back to jersey..kind of stupid if you ask me all that money he is spending on oil changes could be applied to fixing the truck..but on the other hand you cant blame him since so many repairs shops out there are crooks nowadays..my advice would be run legal get the truck back to jersey safely get your paycheck and then decide wether you want to keep working for them or not..
Bfr38, rulonwaholla and diesel drinker Thank this. -

Take it from me, you Don't want to be involved in a fatality accident. With that kinda miles your headed there. It's not worth it to please someone or to build an ego as a super trucker. You can't log that legal and there is no way your tails not dragging. It's not professional and it's doing nothing but keeping rates down. If you really love this job and industry, then act like a professional. For your safety, and that of those who share the road with you. Also for the health and well being of this industry. I'm not blasting you, I was there once. Suppose we all were. Just learn from the mistakes of others so you don't have to go through what I and many others have. Because I can promise you once you kill someone it will change you forever.
