Diesel in my oil

Yeah I know ... he was only following orders.

 

He started this thread asking for help. His truck kept shutting down because of low oil pressure caused by fuel in the oil. He didn't know what to do, and wanted advice.

And then of course it turns into this.

 

Problem is the 7,000 miles in 8 days. I personally don't believe it is that high but I'm sure where there is smoke there is fire.

No matter what the company is saying you don't even attempt something like that.

 

7000 miles in 8 days in 6th gear, turning 2100 rpm.

 

I don't believe it's that high either. That's what I'm getting at. The OP is a little hard to comprehend, and it sounds like he just doesn't really understand all there is to know, and got slung into a job where his boss makes him run hard, and he doesn't know any better. That's what I believe I'm reading anyway.

I do think he should be looking for another job. But I don't think we have to be so hard on him. Sounds like he just doesn't know any better.

 

7000 in 8 days is only 875 miles a day..its not impossible

Can be done assuming he is going coast to coast otherwise hard to do due to loading /unloading.875 in a day isn't much,I once did....eh,nevermind Ridgeline will go nuts LOL.

 

Yep..hard to do otherwise..

 

Unless drop&hook.Main problem is most places are not open 24/7 and rarely will load/unload you within 2h max.
