Our newer trailers have that system installed but the tractor does not. It blows my mind something like this exists yet they don't have it installed on our tractor when it is so important to have all 18 tires inflated at all times. We aren't even allowed to carry a tire Thumper with our company.

Been there. Do you know if it was a driver or just some tweaker. I usually skip Hesperia and move on to Barstow.

Perhaps not, but that doesn't excuse operating unsafe equipment.

I just started and the lack of pre-trip inspections I see definitely came as a surprise. My school made me think it was going to be more common. I personally enjoy taking the extra step just to have a piece of mind.

Naw, she's at the house. The kids love the hell out of her. Honestly, she was a cool find, but it did put a fear in me of killing something if I don't look EVERYWHERE on the truck each morning before I roll out!x1Heavy, 4mer trucker and MACK E-6 Thank this.
