Dam. Wheres those heads at and why so cheap. I just bought one to replace a head with a worn injector bore this past summer and mine was around 500 plus core.

I second that. If I can find 'em that cheap, I'll buy a set even tho I don't need 'em right now.

Sorry guys. Didn't mean to give you an anxiety attack. I wrote number wrong. They were $525. The water pump was $225. I think still a good price. Plus I can handle each head myself. No need for another man and a horse to help get the head off and on.

    ShooterK2 and snowman_w900 Thank this.

Hi guys I am new to the forum and I need some help with my N14, I have overheating problems, I did everything possible but nothing seems to work, I changed the radiator and put a new 5-core, change water thermostats and oil cooler, I put bigger pulleys for greater fan force, I put a bulb to make the fan work at less temperature, I can not make the temperature go down, with the full load on a hill easily reaches 215, if any of you can Help with technical information would be great, the engine is in a KW W900, cpl 2592, the ecm is at 525hp with 1850lbs / ft.

Just for ####s and giggles, did you check to see if your temperature gauge is reading correctly?

Like Northern asked. Is your gauge accurate. Are your warning lights or buzzer activating from high temperature. No offense but is that your oil temperature.

I have the same cpl2592, it's down right now spun bushing on the accessory drive. Needs a hard pull up in the mountains to get it hot.

Sounds like you've done everything you can do, except maybe a new water pump. I'm betting on the gauge being wrong though.

I have a '99 W900 with an N14, same CPL number. Mine ran hit for a while like that. I took the condenser and CAC off and blew the crap out of the radiator fins. Runs cool as a cucumber now.
