I ran paper at my previous company. Man the freedom was awesome, but the headache to make it work was not haha. I wish the government would gtfo this over regulated industry. I ran more miles and was less tired.
Today I had to chain, lost time. I couldn't make it to the loves past twin falls and k was really looking forward to eating those tacos there at the taco shop. Talk about the 14 scrwn me.. I was so upset. Best tacos in the US..
Another reason I want to get out. We get paid on performance, yet we only have a set amount of hours that we can perform.. so dumb.. give me salary pay then or something else.. or just let me do what I gotta do. Nurses pull 24hr shifts all the time. Surgeons don't fill out a log book. Cops dont either. Firefighters are expemt, so are emts and military.. it's bs. Such a shame to hVe such a decent job go to shet cuz of this tirant Money grabbing govt and it's agencies

I like the equipment this company offers but i dont chain nor did i ever carry chains and if they run alot up on 80 then it would not be the company for me

80, 90, 84... I'm going to become a real trucker this year haha
When I was done chaining the law was out of effect. Never chaining again.. get dirty for no reason -
Yeah i have done those routes but never chain its not worth the mess

Well, made it to Troutdale. Made it with an hour to spare to knock out a 34 before appointment, just for good measure. A restart will make a potential long load much easier with the hours I would have had coming. The Wyoming road closure yesterday morning almost went too long. But the blowing snow was still bad across the I-80 Elk Mountain segment. Surprised they opened it when they did and kept it open. The weather today across Idaho and Oregon was beautiful.
No scale issues with this over gross load. Be glad to get rid of this one and be able to fuel like normal.Dharok Thanks this. -
I'm glad I followed route then. Got a little snow but nothing major on the 6. Made it to Ute mountain casino. Great parking place. Hoping to make it to childress Texas. But I'll be happy with Amarillo. Glad your trip look good. Beautiful sunrise over here this morning. Getting ready to head out. Everyone have a good day.

Sounds like you may have driven the the most scenic part of that drive, in the dark. That's what sucks about winter driving.
Be careful driving around the Farmington to Bloomfield segment, and note the easy truck bypass. Local speed cops around the race track/casino.Dharok Thanks this. -
Had an unfortunate turn of events. I guess my tractor breaks froze and didn't unlock.. smoked them out.. waiting for them to cool down a bit and going to go to a ta or something to get them checked oit

Waiting to get unloaded. Got a load lined up for tomorrow... Finally got my Nemesis. Going to be going to Burlington NJ. I see that I gotta go through DC... Looks like fun! Haha wish me luck. Checked routing against GPS and everything looks good. Place is right off 95 so it shouldn't be too bad
hopefully pick up is easy so I can gtfo

I would go into that part of jersey via Carlisle, PA. Only 20 miles longer. But I guess a lot has to do with your timing into the area.
