I gotta tell you, in my line of work I am glad right now that I don't own a trailer. oilfield is bad bad bad. I just saw a guy drive by in his last remaining truck hauling a tandem stepdeck. Now why this is bad...... because he wasn't driving anymore and had 30+ brand new Petes and kw and the same amount of custom super b trailers. trucks rigged up $250,000 each, trailers $300,000 each.

I'm just plugging away being broke as usual not having problems that big.

Mister K R is a good entertainment, if there is nothing else to do. The good salesman he is for sure. A few years back I bought myself his scangauge paying on Iowa 80 well over 200$, influenced by his show. The thing is maybe worth 75$ in my eyes, I mean If I lost it and were to replace it I would not pay more. I don't know of his other products. His advice about trucking business has some value, but most of it is a common sense anyway. On the other hand the advice of buying 15 - 20 year old clunkers and reviving them hoping to save $$$ and make them road ready quality trucks seems a dubious idea to me. Same with his dietary expertise. He says he was a vegetarian not too far back, now not so much and he knows it all like he studied the subject for 20 years. All in all, his show kills time and that's the only thing I value the most.
P.S. The best laugh I had was when some people called his show demanding toilets to be installed in their trucks.

I will defend Kevin, he has changed the way to earn your living with a truck by working smarter not harder. The guy in Alberta, you could use a PP power box to get more hp and burn less fuel. Pulling 140,000 lbs would be essier with micro blu wheel bearings in the trailer hubs, but it is probably not your trailer. Air tabs on the rear of your sleeper and on the back of the tank trailers would also help going down the road. Oil samples and a Eco pure bypass filter and synthetic oil will save more than they cost in one year.

I don't agree with extended drains. Airtabs would be as useless as flowbelow at this weight. That would be like telling a heavy haul guy to put a whale fin on, he'd laugh you away.

ecopur is a product I like, and I'm about to do a microblue inframe on my c15.

my trucks are already tuned so I don't need a powerbox, any more power and I'd hurt longevity of my motor.

Air tabs? Smh. I do like his show, but I take it with a block of salt.

Some of its like the guy who tells you there is a carburetor from the 40's that got 80 miles to gallon and the oil companies killed the inventor.

I have more faith DY then Kevin R.

You van see in my picture I drive for a large national carrier. Right now too many trucks chasing too little freight, so my truck sits. As for his advice on getting your own authority, the business climate and cheap fuel prices are the difference between now and 3 years ago. He also has partnered with Truckstop.com to help driver

Sounds like he went out and over leveraged himself thinking the good times would never end. I knew a guy back in 2005 or 06 who bought 10 houses with liar loans thinking he was the next real estate tycoon. They all back to the bank before long.

It's all about properly spec'ing your rig.

Oh and I just put a Lipe clutch in my Peter. thought I'd try it out, literally got in a fight with my mechanic because he didn't want to put it in. Said those #### clutches have been around since the 60s, they were junk then and they are junk now. Said I'll regret it.

Pedal isn't as easy as a easy pedal but other than that, love the clutch engagement.
