My wife/co-driver is making the same demand. She wants a shower too.

Has anyone attended his CMC seminars? If so, has it done some magic in your business?

A new ws with a 132" ari sleeper is 249k. I'll shower with a garden hose at the fuel island before i spend a quarter million dollars on a truck.

Scrutinize the glider requirements REALLY closely; the rules in Canada are really restrictive. IIRC, you can have one built, but you cannot import one.

St Catherine freightliner is building them. They buy old 98 to 03 trucks to do it properly and send all components away for manufacturers reman.

Finance company just told me they won't finance gliders. guess they've had horrible luck with them

    not4hire Thanks this.

My bank didn't blink an eye at giving me the loan for mine. Not sure if they know the difference between a glider or stock truck and I didn't feel obligated to explained it to them. They call every couple of months asking if I'm ready to buy more. This is my bank and the give me a much better interest rate than the companies that Fitzgerald had lined up.

Also not sure about buying a glider kit yourself and assembling it yourself. Mine were complete trucks.

Women need more showers because they are dirtier and have more parts to clean.

I'm not sure I even know the difference. I think a glider is an older truck that has been totally remanufactured but with a lot of newer components as upgrades. The advantage seems to be that you can use an old pre admissions engine and forgo all the problems associated with newer trucks but you still get to drive something that is virtually new. Am I wrong?
