Danny Herman Trucking is dry van and they don't run northeast or NYC.

That's a review of them, right on this site. It looks as though they hit a low point in 2009. With nothing new posted since then, it's hard to tell if things have improved. Main complaints were low miles (presumably on mileage pay), and dispatch favoritism.
Positive reviews on Indeed.com are much more recent, but miles still seem to be a problem, and one fellow rated them 4 out of 5 stars, with a comment mentioning that he makes $400 - $700/week. That's a sideways compliment at best; with a few years under your belt, you should be able to average $1000/week pretty easily, and without unreasonably sacrificing home time. If this is what a *happy* driver has to say, then what does it takes to make him *unhappy*???
I'd check with other drivers in their yard, and make sure that you're going to be okay with the income. This strikes me as a problem area.vegaskid Thanks this. -
