She recovered. We are 10 years on. We will not be doing that again. The money? Rebuilt the house, and paid all debts. Easy. And especially savings against a future with little to no miles. Ultimately it all worked out. That year we grossed 65K, if things continued on in a few years we would have bought a 18 wheeler cash on barrel head and continued on but life is not like that. You have to take the good with the bad.

Specialities in this industry are like grains of sand in a sand box. No one can tell you all of them or how much one can make, they can only tell you a few of them and what they should make.

As a rule, you won't hear about high paying speciality jobs online or on CL or in the paper. Those kind of jobs don't have much turnover and the recruitment is usually word of mouth.
The companies that haul high-rate products don't have to advertise for drivers. They usually have all the applicants they need. -
