counteract tire beads......work!

    Yeah, having control of it in your own shop makes a difference, we use equal too with no issues, but we see our trucks every week. It's rare for anyone else to work on our trucks and we have an air dryer on our compressor. The only valve stem issues I've seen are when someone did not use the core that comes with the equal.

    I didn't know the core was different. What's the difference? The only thing I noticed is that they put a colored plastic ring around the stem. I only check pressures, I don't change tires.

    The valve core is much longer, it has an extension with filter and a spring. You're not alone, most parts stores find them in the bottom of the box after they sold all the bags, then just throw them away, but they are important. When you buy a box of ten bags, you'll find them in there. The Equal core is on the right.
