They just lost their $54 million loss for supposing up and drivers at least minimum wage they're going to be moving their DC's out of the state of California and they don't have any California-based drive to continue servicing stores the customers account can't feel sore transportation cost

Sorry, I didn't understand your response. In one of your previous posts you stated you heard WM will be moving out of CA. Did you hear this from a source or is this your opinion on what will happen?

It's my opinion but also there's some facts wrong with that opinion they own property in Kingman Arizona they just built a grocery warehouse near Reno Nevada that only serves stores in California do you own property in Oregon where they can move out of that red Bluff California So the writings con on the wall so yes it is my opinion but there's some things to go along with

Then why are they adding on to Porterville? And it don't make since. They already adapted the handbooks to deal with everything, and there are still years of appeals ahead.

Repaired stores out there in California where the cities at passports of mandatory minimum wage to $15 an hour and he just remodeled the store and closed so just because they're adding on to the DC in order to feel don't for a minute think it won't close it down and moving out there to Kingman Arizona and just not had any California base drivers like I said it's my opinion with some facts seattached to it

I do respect your opinion but I just can't see that happening. If they were to make cuts there would be no need to close the DC's. The DC's already comply 100% with CA labor laws and pay fairly well. I also can't see them cutting transportation out. The level of service that the stores rely on just can't be met if freight was moved 100% by dedicated. We've already seen that out of Fontana, CR England recently lost almost half the freight they covered back to the private fleet. The McCarran DC also serves OR to my knowledge, plus all of northern CA, Fontana just can't cover all of CA. On the topic of coverage, there would be a serious loss of service to stores if all CA DC's were to move to Kingman. It's an additional 200+ miles to most stores that are south of Apple Valley. Now with all this said, I won't deny that I am a little worried with how WM will respond to the lawsuit. I witnessed my former company move almost all operations out of CA after multiple lawsuits.

Two things wrong with your theory. Kingman doesn't have the population to support a DC manpower requirements, that's why the property in Kingman and Barstow haven't been built. And Amazon just closed their dc in Fernley, NV near McCarran due to not having enough people, and McCarran has a hard time with staffing. And besides AZ, and Nv voted to raise the minimum wage, and Oregon did it last year, so that's not a factor.

I wouldn't want that drive to work. Especially in the summer time. On the other hand there are plenty of new subdivisions going up around the DC in hope mills.
