I have seen a kit where you join from the outside and run to new plugs but it needsto be done 1 wire at a time properly they are common problem so dont buy second hand if you can depend on plugs you maybe find some after market ones maybe deutcha plug?

Somewhere on this site somebody had posted a link to a wiring harness builder/supplier that does them for just about anything, and if I wasn't running out the door to work right now, I'd gladly search for it but look around here, or somebody chime in...I saw it recently too.

That's ludicrous that price they're quoting you for that harness. I'd be out there with my side dikes and butt connectors before I paid that kind of dough.

Could also be the harness under the valve cover. How did they determine it was the external harness?
