Why does Western Region Pay Ca-Ca?

The pay has more to do with how many people are trying for each job than how much it costs to pay for a house & groceries. Some people are so happy to have nice weather they will work cheap.

Are you looking to pull dry van, reefer, flatbed, etc? That makes a difference.

 

Just talked to another driver at one of my stops in Commerce, he saw I was from AZ and asked me about property taxes. His just increased to over $4K this year, and where I live in Buckeye, my property taxes are about $1,400/year.

He wants to get out of the LA area.

 

Millions of foreigners living in California willing to drive a truck for .24cpm @ 1099 could be part of the problem.

All the hot women left Cali and moved to Arizona or the east coast. Nobody left in Cali.
Even my folks moved to Oregon
