Thank you very much. That was very helpful. Exactly what I was looking for. But I meant model of engine, not truck. Then depending what trans & gear ratio comes with that would follow.

All my trucks have the cat Acert, but it has to have an ecm tune to run right. Pdi stage 1 is a great tune. Just back the actuators off correctly. Can't just throw the ecm on and go. These motors can take the power of the tune and you'll never want anything else also mpg is good. I've had n14 Cummins and were good engines buy they just don't out pull a cat and the engine has to work alot harder. Platinum overhaul runs about $28000. Cummins isn't gonna be that much cheaper. I always look Pete 379 with cats. Only truck that you can put money into to fix right and if you have to sell it someone will pay top dollar. Ken worth t600 with Cummins I would have to get a steal on the price. In my opinion a throw away truck when it's time for a rebuild

    Bigrigmayo93 Thanks this.

To me it's obvious but look for a truck that's an 2007 or older. Anything newer with dpf is a major pain. It's gonna cost alot to fix and your guaranteed to be stuck on the side of the road with the truck having Regen issues. These older trucks aren't easy to fine in good shape so you need to look on truck paper a couple times a day. Anything decent is gonna get calls as soon as it's posted

    thejackal and Bigrigmayo93 Thank this.

T600 isn't really a throw away truck. It's the exact same truck as a W900 except for the front axle being back a little further and the different hood. Cabs are the same. Mine has 1,363,000 miles and no squeaks or rattles in the interior.

I've driven brand new plastic throw away trucks before that were wind whistling, rattling plastic everywhere in the interior. Throw away trucks are poorly built. T600 is not in that category.
