Yeah, so SNI can charge them detention.TennMan and SingingWolf Thank this.

My worry was more along the lines of running over during a live unload though I suppose both ways could work
-
Running over what?? You can be on duty not driving forever. You can't DRIVE after 11, 14, 70 hours.
-
Why be on duty for a live load or unload?
Home_on_wheels and AM14 Thank this. -
So you only have to work 4 days a week of course. IP has been a revolving door lately with these types. They run their clocks out because they won't drive more than 400 miles a day. Taking 16 hour breaks routinely then ##### and moan about the pay. Luckily they don't last long. Unluckily for me, I'm usually the one repowering their load. But hey, I'm getting paid.Friday, bamamac, Home_on_wheels and 2 others Thank this.

1. I thought sni required you to be on duty during load and unload. And 2. I thought on duty not driving still burned your 14
-
On-duty not driving while pulling on to the shippers lot opening doors and backing in, then off, then go on duty while dealing with paperwork and leaving then drive. Only 8/2 split can stop your 14 and we're not going there
gentleroger, SingingWolf and milehunter43 Thank this. -
After starting 14 every minute burns out of the 14 unless there's a 10 hour break then it resets.
8/2 does stop 14 but SNI has to have total control so it's against their policy.CaptainDaveG, SingingWolf and 91B20H8 Thank this. -
