Had the same problem with my D16(still exist). Recently replaced turbo actuator $800 plus core charge. Turbo has been re calibrated. Next day code comes back again. Gotta go back to my shop and tried to deal with that again. Truck is running fine but last time had this problem for like two months and then started to loose power and smoked from exhaust. Good luck everyone with you d16's. I hate it so far!!!!

Hey Fleetwood1, what was the outcome? I just had that message. Took a break, looked around, nothing to see, started it back up again & derated, wouldn't rev/boost past 1500 rpm's, in addition I lost my speedometer. On the freeway so I continued on for next oasis.
Speedometer began to flicker along with boost.
All seems fine at the moment. Loose ground? Or maybe connection? What say you?

Thats what your problem is the speed sensor by the code you gave the last number 7 mechanical system not responding properly so it most likely be the speed sensor, location on the back of the gearbox toward the drive shaft little round cylinder with plug usually towards the right about 4 inchs long unsrew it and check contact clean in the kerobath and spray ratpiss in the plug
