I left Land Star back in 2010, Got tired of OTR but I made great money when I was there. Spoke to some LS Bco's and they told me that the rates have all dropped drastically is that true what has happened to LS ?

LS Can't back out of a load??? You must be smoking crack. Large carriers can do what the want. It's all about what the bean counters say about loosing the customers. You as a driver are discouraged from getting out of a load. This doesn't mean you can not. If the load is wide and isn't stated, you can get out of it. If something is not stated, or the rate changed or anything that is not listed on the load info an get you out of a load. I think this depends which cage you rattle.

Took you 3 years? 3 years and now your complaining?

^The OP posted back in June. At that time he left Landstar 5 months before that.

Yup. They can let the relief driver take 100% of the load even if you drove 98% of the trip. Also they Take 35% for using their trailer and all other expenses after that! Fuel? Sure just what the broker gives you in fsc. Need more you can advance up to 10% of the load.

Isnt that the whole reason a trucking company gets a load booked? I thought we hauled trucks.
