I no longer have a need for scanning, just printing. Every once in a while i need to sign something. I get them to email it to me, sign it with my spen on my samsung note and send it back. When my wife ordered me this phone i thought that pen thing was a total waste, "I'll never need to write in my phone" but boy was i wrong. I use it several times a week for something.

From what I have experienced in the past with ink jet printers is the heat in the vehicle will sometimes cause the printer to run out rather quick and of course at the most inconvenient times. I guess it dries up the ink or causes it to leak out. What I have used that worked really well was a brother pocket jet thermal printer. They don't use ink so it never runs out and operates on 12v or It's own battery. The downside is, they use thermal paper which as we've all seen in the past, fades over time or gets dark if left in the heat. But to solve that, get a decent but inexpensive document scanner and save anything you need to a Google cloud, Microsoft cloud, or a usb thumb drive. By saving to a cloud or thumb drive you can access your documents from any computer. If I'm not mistaken, the Brother Pocketjet can be used in Bluetooth mode also although mine was linked to the computer by cable. You can also get a cradle for the printer that holds the printer and a roll of paper made by Havis I believe.
cke Thanks this. -
Even if it runs it, it will shorten the life of it.

Remember, Walmart/Sam's is national, and you can get ink for the more common printers, like Brother, HP, Cannon and Epson in the printer branded ink or their alternative. I use Brother's and since the wife has been using it at home we've been using the Meijer Brand alternative to good results. It's not refilled, it's just their branded manufactured version.
Pure Sine is best, but honestly, the whole time I was on the road, the modified (not pure sine) little 100 Watt one worked just fine and then the 300 Watt one I bought and installed worked well too. Too little Watt to run things is usually the problem, though you may have hiccups with the modified, electronics just perform better with pure sine. Remember also, that usually the better APU's also pipe House Current, rather than modified sine wave. -
or just buy two
Isn’t it still cheaper to buy the entire printer than the ink??
Thought that was a thing??
