Why? One needs to be old to be interested in history?

What? I guess no one had a phone with a camera to capture it and upload it to the cloud for posterity sake back in 1968 or whenever we're talking about?

I'm 55 and don't ever recall such a poster. Might well have been before my time.

I drove first the summer of 1977. I do remember drivers bemoaning the newfangled CB and how the new crop of drivers didn't know the hand signals.

Actually, you have to go back pretty far for hand signals. I started in the early 70's, and always had a CB, but the most universal hand signal, was if there was a cop ahead of the truck coming at you, you'd do like the peace sign sideways, something about "tuning bars" but indicated a cop was ahead of you. Then of course, there's always been the "universal" hand signal when a 4 wheeler cuts you off,,,,

We had a couple of "signals". The peace sign sideways was a "speed trap". Your arm hanging out of the cab, long arm of the law.
