I ran for em for a while and well all I can say is they tried to make things work out but imo I think they treat those that purchase a truck through them a little better than if you bring your own.

Don't get me wrong they are nice people and try to get you miles but the company would help the owner op better if they went percentage and got away from mileage pay.

Seems like majority of companies want to pay you 1.00 a mile but probably book the rate at 1.50 and higher so they r skimming off the top from the start and want you to pay for everything with a 1.00 a mile. if the truck cant make 4500-5500 min a week dont do their lease purchase

What an owner op would have to do is cut his cost by about 50% in order to stay in business and that cost per mile cannot be cut by 50% the company the owner op works for is getting about 50% of the cash and shoulders 100% of the responsibilities and or pitfalls.

Thats why you pick companies like jones motor group where you call agents/brokers and book all loads yourself and get 75% of line haul

I signed on with f/x and seemed like nice people. I did however keep track of their sales pitch. I was told the administrative fees covered the prepass plus and tolls. Manager tells me I'm charged monthly. We will see.
I was told fsc followed the fuel prices and changed as needed. So far I haven't seen that. And fuel prices jumped. 20 cents.
I'm not seeing stop pay on multiple drop runs.
As usual your drowning in ppw and compliance yet compensation lacks.
Gonna attempt to iron out some details.
    If I can't I'm gone.

    Lonesome Thanks this.
