Straight and centered when practical. Sometimes trucks beside you dictate otherwise.
How far back you go is a bigger concern to me, especially when back to back.
My trainer told me it's up to you how you park but others will judge you by it.
Anyone OCD about parking?

Who the heck cares what anybody else thinks.
Park however you want. I will forget about any truck after a minute. -
I take it a step further if I'm in a crowded lot and there is an empty space on either side of me I will pull up the truck and move it over one space so that two spaces are left side by side to make it easy for somebody to park there.

If I back in next to a guy that's crooked I'll purposely Park straight and be within a half an inch of the guy just to make him look like a dick
mjfreespirit, longbedGTs, ncmickey and 2 others Thank this. -
I used worry about being perfectly centered, but then I realized that was only delaying my promotion to super trucker status so now I just get it in the spot and don't care if the steers or the tractor are crooked.

Guilty here
Caught myself one time
I had pulled up twice got out and was still not straight
Got back in the truck calling myself crazy cause I wanted to pull up again
Told myself leave the truck it's fine
30 seconds go by and I had to pull up for a 3rd time
mjfreespirit and 91B20H8 Thank this. -

I always try to be perfectly straight....
Drives me nuts when I get my drivers side perfectly straight with the line, I appear centered, and the steering wheel is perfect.... I get out to do a post trip and I am crooked to the right side line.... but straight on the left....
#### crooked line painters!!!mjfreespirit, mindes and bzinger Thank this. -
