I decided I'm pushing home time out to the 23rd. I don't like it, but I'd like to make sure I make more than enough to take a full week off and go visit mom In the U.P. After Christmas Day. Then we scrape what we can in the new year.

My unload is at a high school. The crew was supposed to be here to unload me at 8am. It's 840 and they are very much late after the 2nd bell has rung for 1st hour

My back haul was dog food. It was in the hills in MO. Off the beaten path.
Humor is great around there. It's posted as speed limit of 55mph, yet every 200' there is a curve with a hill for 25-40mph. And ungodly steep hills to climb. (That ticked everyone off I'm sure)
I unload near the airport in Belleville MI. Hopefully a better run after I'm empty. -
Glad I was able to avoid that pileup on I 96 west today. I was at the fowlerville truck stop when the closed the interstate at 129 mm. Luckily I was heading east on my way out.
Highway Sailor Thanks this. -

Not too late. I still have the rest of December, January and February before I get the title on this mechanical Frankenstein monster. (Being fixed with other remanufactured parts, until new parts come in)

What poopy roads and weather.
On the bright side, I'm gonna be famous! Channel 10 in Lansing interviewed me at a rest area in okemos. It was about the road conditions. He asked what they were like and I stole my line from Ren and Stimpy and opened with "well, sir. I don't like it."
I tried to disguise my voice as if I were a yooper, just for fun. -
I was caught off guard when I dined at the Iron Skillet in Glendale KY today. I found it really surprising that everyone that worked in the restaurant was very attractive. I don't know if it was the area or some policy, but every turn held some new sort of eye candy. Unusual for sure. Maybe college students part time?
popcorn169 Thanks this.
