are there any drivers out there with any recent experience with IRT? What about any other companies that hire out of Alabama? I'm tired of pulling a box and flatbed and am looking to get back in a tanker.

I've talked to a few of those drivers and none of them had anything good to say. Maybe it's just the Decatur Alabama yard. I don't know
-
Haven't heard many good things about them. I called once a couple years back and the woman acted like I disrupted her day that's all I needed to hear.
-
They were really nice to me when I called but nice doesn't pay the bills.

Adrienna Brown and poppapump1332 Thank this.

I was at the port in Tampa today....those IR dudes were stacked 20 deep in line to get loaded....or offloaded, how much are they getting paid to sit in that line?

I've worked at the Decatur yard for over three years and have no real complaints. Makes me wonder about the drivers you've heard from. lol
