First of all congratulations on getting you cdl. I don't no ware you live at if your in a metroplex you may find a local delivery job but I would say you will probably have to go on the road to gain experience first. Just when you talk to a recruiter explain what you need and you would be surprised how thay may acomadate you. Thair is several military friendly company's out thair. Do one of those blaket onlin aps and the phone will start ringing.

If I still had 5 months left in the military I'd start asking anybody and everybody on base that might know anything about the companies that ship military equipment and contact those companies. Those military loads pay bank. You might get lucky. Good luck man.

Why not re enlist for new MOS,like large vehicle transporter.Get experience good training while still getting free medical and promotions.Good army pay.DOT "leaves the Army alone".Have never seen them pulled over.JMORollingRecaps Thanks this.
