Pulled into a rest area to take a 10, The snow plows started about an hr ago

Last night the roadway looked similar to this before I puled into tge rest area. cars spinning out, pace was 25 to 55 due those sharing the road.
since the road was pretty much snow packed in lower elevations I expected higher elvations to be worse. The road dept jumped on it I guess..

Don't worry, I am not on the road. I am retired and drive when I please, and driving in snow doesn't please me - I get paid very well to sit on my couch watching football, shooting, etc. I drive to help when folks are in a bind, not for a living. Living in Reno I regularly drive Donner. Too many dip ####s crashing when it's dry, even worse in the winter. My hat's off to those that like to throw iron.otherhalftw, Lepton1 and dca Thank this.
