energy dispatch in florida

    Gross. They guarantee $200 a day. They shop around for fuel so you might go to 2-3 terminals to get 1 load.

    I would be willing to bet it is gross. You work your tail off (60-70 hours a week) to take home $600 a week. I tried it for a few months. Fuel hauling wasn't for me. The pay versus the amount of work and responsibility just doesn't equal out. I didn't mind the work. Low pay is what ran me off.

    Yeah, and that is a load of bs having to go to 2-3 terminals to get one load. You give up so much free time sitting and waiting to load at each terminal. By the time you get that load dropped, you haven't made squat.

    This will never happen, but if you could get all the fuel drivers to go on strike for a few days and let the fuel at gas stations dry up, maybe then they would get paid what that job is worth. I know, I am wearing rose colored glasses...
