Ok US pricing. Thanks so much for your info!! Decisions decisions
Have a line on an 97 T600 in very good shape. 430k miles fresh safty inspection good shape for 30k. I can have what ever inspections I want done on it.
Thanks again. -
Oops. Me bad . Sorry for the misunderstanding .
Elroythekid Thanks this. -
No worries sir, all good info. In your market that would be retail also. I don't know how they expect people to pay full retail but you can only test drive in a 10mph parking lot and not take it to anybody. No service records available, no way to take it to a mechanic? They sell them tho. Maybe sell one to me...
Thanks again sir! -
No service records, no test drive and can't take it to a outside shop for inspection .....
I wouldn't touch it...
But if you must I'd low ball them. Show up with a certified check for less than the asking price and tell them take it or your walking ....Grubby, HopeOverMope, QuietStorm and 1 other person Thank this. -
You make the offer to the guy in Wisconsin he takes it to his superiors. They want 58k I offered 50 tax in go rejected he said maybe 50 plus tax.
-
You guys mean they won't let you take it for a test ride around the block? Or to a third party mechanic shop? Do they at least offer 60 days warranty or something ?
-
As is where is. You can test drive around their yard, I could barely get it into the top range. No service records, nothin.TallJoe Thanks this.

So decision time.
2007 T600 C15 13sp. 480k miles
It is going to cat tomorrow for an ECM download, oil sample, blow by test.
$30000.
OR
2012 Columbia glider 12.7 detroit 10sp 400k miles. Asking $58000 I think I can get it for $50000. Can't drive it other than the parking lot, can't take it any where for testing. As is where is. I guess both trucks are as is where is, but t600 I can get tested. I'm doing this from 1000 miles away so it's a little difficult but that's what I have to do.
What would you guys do? I'm leaning towards the T600. No a fan of the narrow cab but it's probably a better built truck, will be worse on fuel for sure, but it's over $20k cheaper. I can buy it cash almost. Opinions appreciated. -
If they only let you test the glider...the 2007 does not have that Dpf does it? If it is only with Egr then it is ok. If the egr is not working smooth, then the egr system should be let go.
