Spoiler alert... Rates have been dropping for the last 3 yrs. this time of the year, is worst than last year.

 

Fb rates been dropping so they been coming over to van which going to make van driver see loads under a buck more often

 

Yes the program, rates, freight, and all the fixin's are slowly declining.

 

After new year the FB rates will go up same as they say the wall will.... lol

 

To many truck in one area never a good thing they use that as excuse to give us and cheap rate

 

That's not good I loved being a ic over there I just left chasing more money

 

Man if it's what you want grab the bull by its horns and take it. Taxes are simple. Sole proprietor for the first year and most likely all years while under the lease. Your tax preparer will help you with this. Only reason to Incorporate or form a LLC is for tax savings and the break even point is 60 to 70,000 net to gain a advantage. It won't help you in a lawsuit.
Wait until you have a wife, mortgage, car payments all you want. The business is not that hard to understand.
Man I'm telling you from experience. If it's what you want do it while your debt free. Just pull your boot laces tight. Also when and if you decide to make the move, pay attention to all those dust covered used bobtails. They failed.
If I was in your shoes, this is a easy one for me.
I have been company and IC here. No business classes needed. Just the desire to succeed. When failure is not a option it's amazing what you can do.
IMHO, for your situation, yes go for it. Or you could always wait for a better time. They always come around.
