Saw a Covenant truck jackknifed up against the jersey wall on I80/90 in OH, as well as two smaller outfit trucks in the center median. Tonight was a bad night in the OH tollroad, for sure. I quit fighting it once I got to Delta, OH.

Really interesting taking a curve and watching the trailer offtrack further out as the trailer slides down the bank of the curve.....

Saw a CRST truck on I90 mm535 in Montana in the rhubarb. 911 was already aware. Didn't stop as the driver was sitting there looking bored.

Planned to stop at a rest area but it was closed because some fool came in hot and jackknifed!

Believe it or not... A Swift driver came in right after him and he managed to stop and avoid the accident.

After I left my yard and returned down that road, the truck was still there but Swift was gone.

I always turn on blinkers and slow down. Way down... The rest areas are sheets of ice right now in the PNW.

Yes, it most certainly does. Methinks this truck driver is gonna run "solar powered" for a bit. At least until the weather settles down. This seasonal transition between autumn and winter has been somewhat less than friendly to us faithful travelers. Moisture plus big temperature swings leads to big mess and big accidents.

Hopefully everything will settle down climat-wise in the next few days. After all, Christmas travelers are coming! I would like to see a holiday week where the news doesn't include the phrase "tragic" at least once in my lifetime......

It seems the only way to make money @ 14 cpm is to race like mad from one truck stop to the next.
