My Bad. Putting 8 cars instead of 7 can add little extra in my pocket, also it's easier to find 8 to 9 cars full load than 7!!!
That's what I meant to say.

What is height difference from 19.5 axle option than 22.5 option? Is it 3in or less than that?
-
About 1", on the 285, 1.4" on the 265. I don't remember which size they use. Also, I just noticed when I looked up the specs on Michelin's site that they have the 19.5 listed at 62mph max speed now.brian991219 and AGL Thank this.

I run a 5309 that has been strap converted. Love this trailer. Got mine on 19.5's because you always need that extra inch. Tires are a bi#ch to find so I bought two new ones that sit in my garage. If I ever travel far I slap one on the deck plate. WARNING!!!! This trailer is not for rookies! It will gladly take illegal loads and keep trucking. Shove most of your big heavy stuff to the front. I mostly run 8 car loads but having that 9th position sometimes comes in handy. I have figured out that from the center back, I can fit 12 k lbs of cars and stay legal

I took all my chains off and converted to straps. I haul new cars anyway so no more chains. Saved about 400lbs. Check out automobiletransportsuppy.caKANSAS TRANSIT and AGL Thank this.

I looked hard at the CX-5308 before I bought my 5309. Gorgeous design and love the nextgen concept. However, its about $10k more money and even heavier on the backKANSAS TRANSIT, Terry270, AGL and 1 other person Thank this.

Thank you for the info!!! Do you have belly pans on yours? I'm not sure yet should I go with that option? Is it going affect my weight? I'm thinking that will give trailer additional structural strength!!
Thanks -
A belly pan offers zero structural strength. It helps protect the lower vehicles from rocks and road crap that kicks up. Anything you add to the trailer will increase weight, all depends on what you can live with. Same with pans in the middle of the upper decks. Walk on them and you'll be making a trip to ER.
