Need some help

Dope charges is a verry bad to have on the person's record that is trying to be a trucker.
Do you know if he has taken any drug classes?
It will be really hard to find a company that is willing to give your friend a chance.
If he finally gets hired on with anyone he will probaly be subject to more random drug tests.
I do not know of any right off hand that will take him. Tell him to check the local construction companies, cement trucks etc.

 

Unfortunately for your classmate, I think you're right. With just the possession charge, he might have found something with a lesser outfit, but since he's proven to be irresponsible on several levels, he may want to try for lead fry-guy.

 

That will be his phrase of the day, for some time to come.

CR England only requires the body still be warm to the touch, for hiring purposes. If he didn't get on there...he's toast.

 

Yea thats pretty much right, I don't know of any that will hire with all that being so recent not even Swift. He may can find a owner op that will but him in a truck for cash somewhere but thats hard to find. "Yea how bout a Big-Mac, large fry and a large coke please" Really he shouls have waited till this stuff was well over 3-5 years old...Tell em Good luck!

Reckless driving for any company that is another big turn off for them as well as the dope.

I had an backing accident on 12/06 before I started trucking school I was not charged with it but it was found to be at fault for it.

I got an obstructed veiw ticket for it because I was able to prove to the cop the damage the guy was claiming was fraud.

The guy was accusing me of hitting his car in the trunk area the only problem with that is the guy had tail lights all the way across the trunk none of which got broken hummm makes you think.

I reported it to all of the companies that I applied with and one of them which was werner said the accidents must be over 1 year old before they would consider hiring me no matter if I was charged with it or not.

I was trying to cover my own butt so if it happened to popped up on my MVR they would not be able to disqualify me for it.
I was always told if it is on paper then report it that way no problems later if it comes up.

The thing that I was po'd about is the guy did not have a drivers license and he got nothing because it was on private property.
I told the cop well you nailed me for bumping into his car then nail him for no drivers license he then said that he did not see the guy driving I said well it does not matter if you seen him or not he admitted to driving.

 

How did he even get into school with that sort of record? They must not have checked things very well. The school I went to checked your driving record before they would let you in the door. Yeah, he'll be at McyD's for a while!

 

Simple answer is the schools want money if they have someone standing there with cash but had a bad record.
Well congrats you have been accepted to XXX school all we need is the money to garantee your spot in school starting XXXXX.
