Depends on where you live, and which of our divisions you are in. Flatbed division I'm usually home every 10-14 days for two or three. If I need a 4th or 5th that isn't usually a big problem. Just let dispatch know. Van/reefer seem to get home a bit more often. Like 7-10. If you are a guy that's single and wants to stay out longer, they'll certainly work with you and keep you busy while you are out.

Check out Melton Truck Lines. I worked for them, and every two weeks i had a real decent paycheck, new truck, and a great support system. They are strictly a flatbed company.

Triple Digit Bullhauler is right. I've never worked for Melton, because they don't hire up where I live. But a good friend of mine did, and even after leaving them for a local job, he speaks very highly of Melton.

Looking for a new company and have been reading alot of the threads on here. Currently live in Morgantown, WV which is on the border of PA and close to OH. Not sure yet but may be making a move to Tampa this summer. Trying to find a good company with good pay. Have been checking some into Britton and they seem decent from the posts on here. Just wondering if I'm in their hiring area now and if I would be if I make the move to Tampa?

Morgantown, WV would probably work ok. But Tampa wouldn't work at all. Just talking to another driver on here from Florida who was not hired by Britton due to living in Florida. And I don't think he was even that far south.
