unless it's a magnum/Stryker radio it's basically a ranger radio. a ranger board.is in a galaxy 98vhp...

 

Pretty standard 99% of the time

 

jack up whack out a perfectly good radio. the cobra 29 is the standard of the trucking industry. leave the #### thing stock leave it alone !!!! let it do its job

 

didn't know there is a cb shop in Bloomington---'missed that one

 

Howard in Hebron Indiana does much better work

 

no doubt sounds like anybody lets that guy in Bloomington work on their radio they will not be a happy camper..

there's a guy claiming he gets 60 watts outta a cobra 29. it's a single final radio.... talk about stealing a person's hard earned $$$$

 

That may have been what the meter said, but as you know, they can be made to lie. 60w, that final would puff smoke...quick.
Like you said, leave those radios stock, and you gotta solid reliable radio.
No one seems to be able to leave anything alone though...myself included lol
