I would offer him $15k at the very most for it, but truthfully, I wouldn't even consider it. He is trying to off load a problem and disaster waiting to happen.

By the way, a little advice, you don't find bargains on truck paper unless you're willing to compromise on what you want. I mean too many will look for a specific model, year of a truck with a very narrow idea of what they want in an engine. Trucks are out there, a lot of them at cheaper prices but in better shape.

One key piece I should of mentioned in the OP is, I was interested in purchasing the truck I was in because it seemed reliable. So he wasn't really trying to off load the truck on me. It was when he offered it to me at that price when I got a little skeptical. But I can buy any one of his 50 trucks. So I will look around every few days. He may not budge on the price... at all since he believes he can get back what he put into it. I doubt any of the trucks he owns will be a "bargain" compared to those who are trying to off load there trucks for god knows whatever reason.. some of the prices on craigslist seem too good to be true.

    Yeah, I was comparing prices.

EGR Cooler failed. Over 15 Gallons of anti-freeze into the engine... I don't think I'm going to take it. Boss tells me no anti-freeze went into the engine... that's hard to believe.
No Macks or WS for me, thanks anyways.
