How can I reset the cel amber check eng light?

    Well i started to have the DPF #1 injector no response code come one, so i took it off, cleaned it and put it back. Is there a way i can reset the cel on a 2014 T660, with a Paccar MX 13 eng, without going to the dealer? Truck only has 270k

    I was told by peterbilt mechanic that sometimes you can disconnect all the battery power for 10-15 minutes and then reconnect and it will sometimes clear the codes. I tried it once and it worked.

    Thats a cheap mechanic trick that worked on '05 and earlier vehicles. Not saying it wouldnt work on anything newer, and I'm not saying it won't work on a CMV. I'm just saying don't get your hopes up.

    But if it does work by all means post back here so people will know for future reference.

    I'm not saying it always works or will work. But it did work on my 2014 Pete with isx once.
